Fermín Fraguas Perpiñá was founded as an architectural firm in 1987. Located in Barcelona on Provença Street, the firm began by taking its own path doing various renovation projects and by working on detached and multifamily housing throughout Spain, especially in Costa Brava and in Barcelona.

As time went on, with multiple accomplishments in its portfolio, the firm grew to take on new and more important projects. It began to specialize in niche Hotels, drafting Hotel projects along the peninsula and throughout Europe, making this one of the main activities of the firm today.

Despite its specialization, the firm has never stopped taking on a variety of assignments like private housing, urban planning, renovation and interior design, proving itself to be a versed multidisciplinary studio.

Throughout its history, the studio’s way of understanding and conceiving architecture has helped it work and collaborate in projects with other studios, pen more than 40 designs, and welcome a large number of architectural professionals as a part of its team, allowing it tremendous growth.

After years in the profession, the firm continues to broaden its horizon, always keeping in mind its multidisciplinary approach. In 2009, the firm decided to take a step forward and to move the studio to a new location in Ptge. Utset in Barcelona.
